Brenda Henry, 61, of Forest Hills, Ky., died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Doctor’s Hospital, Augusta, Ga.

She was born in Williamson, April 27, 1948, a daughter of Elsie Hunt Gillispie of North Matewan and the late Edward Gillispie.

She was a pharmacy technician at Appalachian Regional Hospital for more than 30 years and attended the Sharondale Church of Christ.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Daniel Henry of Forest Hills; three daughters, Brandi Henry of Fairmont, Jody Venturino of Fayetteville and Tabitha Gillispie of Charleston; one sister, Etta Faye (David) McCoy of North Matewan; her mother-in-law, Freda Henry of Forest Hills; granddaughter, Rachel Venturino of Fayettesville; and special friends, Patty Preston, Lisa Bowen, Judy Crigger and Brenda jessie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 15, at the Sharondale Church of Christ, Huddy, Ky., with Bro. Bob Werntz officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy.

Pallbearers will be David Henry, David McCoy, Mark McCoy, Dave King, Sam Deskins and Chris Venturino.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Hurley, Pierce Whitt, Bobby Ryan, Sam Henry and Rocky Layne.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home and the body will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to services on Thursday.
