Bobbie Lou Thacker, 52, of Slaters Branch, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center emergency room.

She was born Aug. 22, 1957 at Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Curtis and Edith Rutherford Singleton. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Williamson and grandson, Roger Gage Thacker.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ in Williamson.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Gene Thacker of Slaters Branch; three sons, Donald Caudill, Roger Thacker Jr. and Bobby Thacker all of Slaters Branch; two sisters, Barbara Williamson of Logan and Lutitia Caudill of Scott’s Depot,\ and three grandchildren, Bethany and Lilly Rose Thacker and Donnie Caudill.

Funeral services will held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, Appalachian Plaza in South Williamson, Ky. with Okey Varney and David Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Thacker Family Cemetery at Millard, Ky. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6 at Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, Appalachian Plaza. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
