The Mingo Central Miners Boosters Club honored the late John Fry before the first home game on Friday night. Fry was a young coach who passed away last summer. He was loved by many in the area. A plaque will be placed in his honor at Buck Harless Stadium on the dressing room building. Pictured above is J. T. Bevins (far left0 who presented the plaque to Fry’s mother Barbara. Also in the picture is one of Fry’s former players Ryan Dotson, who has been battling an illness, alongside Miner’s head coach Yogi Kinder at far right.
