Logan-Mingo Area Mental Health Inc. has appointed Elizabeth Coffey its new clinical director.
Coffey is a West Virginia native and 1993 graduate of West Virginia University, where she obtained a Masters of Arts degree in counseling. She is a licensed professional counselor and has more than21 years’ experience in the mental health field. Her experience includes six years with the National Guard.
She brings a wealth of clinical and professional experience and knowledge to Logan-Mingo Area Mental Health. Her goal is to develop outreach to the military and their families through Logan-Mingo Area Mental Health Inc., as well as reduce the stigma associated with seeking behavioral health services.
She is married to Col. Gary Coffey, who is a chaplain with the W.Va. National Guard.
