KERMIT - The Mingo County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting a DUI sobriety checkpoint Friday along U.S. Highway 52 at Kermit from 8 p.m. to midnight.


During the checkpoint, drivers will be checked for any other traffic infractions as well. The primary purpose of the checkpoint is to educate the motoring public about the effects of driving while impaired.
