GOODY, Ky. – The Shelby Valley Wildcats blasted the Belfry Pirates on Wednesday night 86-47 at the BHS gym.

Shelby Valley placed four players in double figures led by senior Tyler Carr who poured in 26 points.

Sophomore Hunter Swindall fired in 19, junior Dalton Richardson scored 14 and junior Corey Hamilton added 10 for the Wildcats.

Sophomore Garrett Fannin led Belfry with 20 points. Freshman Austin Woolum chipped in six points for the Pirates for first-year coach Mark Thompson.

The young Pirates are now 3-6 on the season and were scheduled to host East Ridge tonight, weather permitting, and Allen Central on Thursday night.

The Wildcats, coached by Jim Hicks, improved to 11-3 on the season and are participating in the All A Classic at the Expo Center this week.
