STONE, Ky. - A suspect is in custody for the shooting of three people, one fatally, during a motorcycle club meeting Sunday morning at Stone, Ky., according to the Pikeville detachment of the Kentucky State Police, which is investigating the incident.
KSP Post 9 of Pikeville received a call early Sunday, reporting that three people had been shot at Stone.
The three gunshot victims were all in attendance at a motorcycle club meeting at the time of the incident, according to a KSP report.
Troopers responding to the scene determined that Daniel Ward fatally shot 29-year-old Bradley Coleman and two other individuals who were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries, the report states.
Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Deputy Coroner Mike Hall.
Ward was arrested leaving the scene and is currently lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on one count of murder with additional charges pending. This incident remains under investigation by KSP Detective Kevin Newsome.
