The Williamson Fire Department welcomed a group of distinguished guests for a tour of their fire station on the anniversary of 9/11. The visitors were residents of Trinity Health Care (THC), located in West Williamson. The visit was a planned event under the direction of THC Activities Director Oliver Spradlin, who was accompanied by fellow employees Pam Cantrell and Janice Maynard. The ladies baked some very special goodies that included lots of love and affection, and presented them to the firefighters to express their appreciation for all they do. The firefighters showed the ladies firefighting and rescue equipment, answered their questions and slid down the world famous slide pole for them, much to their delight. Pictured with the residents and their caretakers are WFD Members Lt. G. Gregory and M. Mounts.
