School operating times across Mingo

WILLIAMSON – To make the back to school transition easier for residents across Mingo County, a list of varying school times throughout Mingo has been provided by the Assistant Superintendent Paula Hinkle Brown.

For residents in the Delbarton area, Burch Elementary will start school at 8:15 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Burch Middle will also begin at 8:15 with school dismissing at 3:45.

Dingess Elementary will begin at 8:10 a.m. and will conclude at 3:30 p.m.

Lenore PK-8 will start at 8:45 a.m. and dismiss at 3:45p.m.

Kermit PK-8 will begin at 7:45 a.m. and dismiss at 3:15 p.m.

For those that live in the Gilbert area, Gilbert Elementary and Middle will begin at 8:15 a.m. and conclude at 3:45 p.m.

Matewan PK-8 will start at 8:15 a.m. and end at 3:45 p.m.

Mingo Central High School will begin at 7:08 a.m. and dismiss at 2:53 p.m.

Tug Valley High School will begin at 7:20 a.m. and end at 2:53 p.m.

Williamson PK-8 will start at 8:15 a.m. and dismiss at 3:52 p.m.

The Mingo County Extended Learning Center will start at 7:15 a.m. and dismiss at 2:15 p.m.

The first day of school for Mingo County is Tuesday, Aug., 11.
