STONE, Ky. - The Pikeville detachment of the Kentucky State Police (KSP) is investigating a homicide that occurred Sunday morning at Stone, Ky.
KSP Post 9 of Pikeville received a call that three people had been shot in the Stone community of Pike County.
The three gunshot victims were at a motorcycle club meeting at the time of the incident, according to a KSP report.
Troopers responded to the scene and information obtained at the location indicates that Daniel Ward fatally shot 29 year old Bradley Coleman. He is also accused of shooting two other individuals whom were transported to a medical facility for their injuries.
Bradley Coleman was pronounced deceased at the scene by Pike County Deputy Coroner Mike Hall.
Ward was apprehended leaving the scene and is currently lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on one Count Murder with additional charges pending. This incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Kevin Newsome.
