Mingo Drug Court


Kyle Lovern/WDN Photo Mingo County Circuit Court held an opening ceremony for its new Adult Drug Court on Thursday. Mike Lacy, Regional Director for the program, was the guest speaker. He was introduced by Judge Miki Thompson. Lacy told the large crowd in attendance that W.Va. has a high overdose rate, especially in the southern part of the state. He said this kind of program can be successful. Judge Thompson said she is pleased to have this program in Mingo County.
