DELBARTON – The Mingo County Sheriff’s Department has scheduled a sobriety check point for Friday, July 1st at the intersection of U.S. 52 and Rt. 65 in Delbarton.
The MCSD will be also be having saturated patrols in this area from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. There will also be a DUI Checkpoint during this time frame.
Sobriety checkpoints or roadblocks involve law enforcement officials stopping every vehicle on a public roadway and investigating the possibility that the driver might be too impaired to drive.
Motorists are asked to drive with caution when approaching any checkpoint.
