WILLIAMSON – The Williamson Farmers Market has announced the My Mobile Market schedule for summer 2016.
This summer, My Mobile Market will travel to seven locations that include Buchanan, Matewan, Kermit, Williamson, Lenore, Dingess and Delbarton.
On June 2 and 3 My Mobile Market will travel to Try This W.Va. in Buchanan W.Va.
My Mobile Market will be at Wingo’s Grill in Matewan on June 18 from the hours of 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The next stop for My Mobile Market will be next to the Dairy Queen in Kermit from the hours of 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
My Mobile Market will be available at Williamson Memorial Hospital on June 11.
On July 22, My Mobile Market will be available at Cheech’s in Lenore from the hours of 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
My Mobile Market will be at Jamie’s Restaurant in Dingess on August 4 from the hours of 3 to 6 p.m.
The final stop for My Mobile Market will be at the Senior Center in Delbarton on August 18 from the hours of 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Playground activities will also be held at these locations. Some of the activities available at Playground include whiffle ball, kick ball and corn hole.
My Mobile Market is an extension of the Williamson Farmers Market. According to the USDA website, My Mobile Market was launched in 2014 with the goal of improving access to fresh food in lower income areas.
