Surprise snow


Kyle Lovern/WDN Photo The Tug Valley area was hit with a surprise snowfall Thursday afternoon causing hazardous driving conditions. Several accidents were reported keeping emergency responders busy. This roll-over happened just past the West Williamson-Fairview exit on U.S. 119. The Williamson Police and Fire Departments quickly responded to the scene. No serious injuries were reported. Another accident was reported on Laurel Creek where a vehicle went through a telephone pole. Many parents scrambled to schools to pick up their children. A quick one to two inches of slushy snow fell and in some areas was mixed with sleet causing slick conditions.
