WILLIAMSON – The Tug Valley Relay for Life (R.E.D. Team) and the Williamson Park Board are hosting a “Magical and Heroic Event” fundraiser, Saturday, March 26 at 5 p.m. at the Williamson Fieldhouse.

On this day, Disney Princesses, action heroes and Star Wars characters will invade the Fieldhouse providing children the opportunity to talk, dance and take pictures throughout the evening.

Admission for the event is $20 per child. If the child is under age one and attending with an older sibling the infant will be granted free admission. However, if the infant child is not attending with an older child, the admission will be $10. Adult admission is free if attending with a child.

The admission price covers the cost of food and drink. Adults may purchase food for a small cost. All activities including games, face painting, and dancing are included in the admission price.

A professional photographer will be at the event to take your child’s picture with his or her favorite character. A separate fee will be required to the photographer based on which photo package is chosen.

Tickets are available now. Due to limited seating and food that will be available once the tickets are sold out, none will be available at the door. To ensure your child is able to attend, please purchase your event ticket in advance due to the limited amount to be sold.

Proceeds from this event will be divided between the R.E.D. Team and the Williamson Park Board.

Relay for Life is the largest fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Communities across America come together throughout the year to host these community events to raise awareness as well as dollars to fight back against cancer.

The Tug Valley Relay for Life is scheduled for June 17, 2016 beginning at 6 p.m. at Lefty Hamilton Park next to the Williamson Field House. The event theme this year is “Peace, Love, and Relay.”
