Energy Express is recruiting AmeriCorps members to serve as Site Supervisors.

Supervisor Position Description and Qualifications:

* No professional contract that overlaps Energy Express program dates of Thursday, June 16th–Friday, August 5th

* A bachelor’s degree awarded prior to June 16, 2016 or a combination of education and experience (High School Diploma or GED and four years of full-time directly related experience at a commensurate level or Associate Degree and two years of full- time directly related experience at a commensurate level)

* Energy Express experience as a site supervisor or AmeriCorps member preferred.

* Preferred has weight in the screening process, but not in the interviewing and final selection process (WVU Human Resources)

Salary for 300 hours is $4,750. Applications must be postmarked by February 20, 2016.

Energy Express is recruiting AmeriCorps members to serve as mentors and community coordinators this summer across West Virginia.

Are you a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in college? Potential applicants must be at least 18 years of age by June 16th 2016.

Mentors work with a small group of children to making reading meaningful in their lives by creating an enriching environment focused on reading, writing and art.

Community Coordinators raise awareness and involve parents and the community with children’s learning. They recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to read with children and engage in other activities.

Earn $1,850 living allowance, 300 community service hours, and a Segal AmeriCorps education award of $1,195 in the form of a voucher. Program dates are June 16 – August 5, 2016. Application postmark deadline is March 1st 2016.
