WILLIAMSON – A block party is planned Saturday, Aug. 29, from the hours of 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Williamson Farmers Market to kick off the Hatfield and McCoy Healthy Feud Physical Activity Challenge.
At the block party, there will be music, corn hole, healthy snack samples, four-square, water activities and more.
The block party kicks off the third annual Hatfield and McCoy Healthy Feud. Last year, there were 771 participants with 150 teams from 15 states. Twenty-nine teams walked over 1000 miles.
The top team from last year was The Wolf pack team with over 4,000 miles.
You can accumulate points by completing events such as Activity Challenges, Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days, attending monthly 5k races, Tuesday Night Track, attending the Williamson Farmer’s market and more.
Points can be exchanged for various healthy eating and active living awards.
There is also a Monday night Health Feud at the Softball park at 6 p.m. The Monday night Health Feud is a game night for all ages.
Registration for the Healthy Feud begins on Monday August 31, or you may register at the block party.
