Fol-De-Rol and Fiddley-Dee …….. Mingo Central is presenting Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. On April 1st and 2nd, make the trip to Mingo Central to be swept away to the world of fairy tales as music, singing and dancing take center stage to retell one of the greatest stories of all time.

Come enjoy the story of Cinderella (played by Hannah Hatfield), a servant girl to her wild and evil step family (played by Aerianna McClanahan, Haley Mounts and Jillian Music), as she prepares herself to attend the ball in hopes that she will meet the prince and they will fall madly in love.

Cinderella experiences some bumps along the way as her step family tries to hold her back at every turn. However, with the help of her Fairy God Mother (played by Erika Chambers), Cinderella transforms from a country bumpkin to a beautiful princess ready to go to the ball!

Will Cinderella find love? Will her evil stepmother thwart her plan to escape her servant lifestyle? Shows are Friday, April 1st at 7 pm and Saturday, April 2nd at 1:30pm and 7 pm. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and $2 for those who choose to dress up as princes or princesses up to the age of 12. The program is being sponsored by Chafin’s Funeral Home in Delbarton.

The musical is under the direction of Sarah McVaney, Choral Director at Mingo Central Comprehensive High School.
