PIKEVILLE, Ky. - Mountain Water District of Pikeville has issued a boil water advisory for its customers at the mouth of Ky. Route 199 near Church Street to the Runyon Elementary School, Ball Fork, Octavia, and Mullens Fork of Stone, Ky. Water used for drinking or cooking purposes should be boiled at a rolling boil for at least three minutes.

The advisory is in effect until further notice.
