Christopher Jennings Bragg, 30, of Williamson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior following an automobile accident at Taylorville, January 22, 2012.
He was born March 4, 1981, at South Williamson, Ky. He was the son of Marion Bragg of Varney, and Alma Smith Christian of Williamson.
Chris was a tattoo artist and body piercer for Steve’s Tattoo in Williamson. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother and closest friend, Stephen Bragg of Williamson; special niece and nephew, Angelia Bragg and Stephen Ray Bragg II. He will be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon January 25, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Starr officiating at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel in Delbarton. Burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery at Varney. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Jimmy Coleman
Jimmy Darrell Coleman, 61, of Sprigg, departed this life on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on December 10, 1950, a son of the late Wade and Daisy Juanita Mays Coleman.
He leaves to honor his loving memory and mourn his passing son, Nick Pruitt of Phelps, Ky.; and daughter, Crystal Coleman of Sprigg; and a granddaughter, Brianna Coleman of Phelps.
In honoring the request of Jimmy Darrell, he will be cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chambers Funeral Services of Matewan.
Leck Lester
Leck Lester, 85 of Gilbert, died Saturday, January 21, 2012, at his residence.
Born on February 18, 1926, at Baisden, he was the son of the late Dave and Lizzie Lester.
Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Thursday, January 26, from noon until 2 p.m. Funeral services will commence at 2 p.m. on January 26 at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Dave and Lizzie Lester Family Cemetery at Baisden.

Ernest Murphy
Ernest Boyd Murphy, 69 of Owingsville, Ky., formerly of Belfry, Ky., passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, in the Hilltop Nursing Home, Owingsville.
He was born June 19, 1942, at Belfry, the son of the late Rev. Ernest Prock and Euna Smith Murphy.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ernestine Ray.
He was self-employed and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. He was a member of the Stone Masonic Lodge # 890 F. & A.M., a 32nd degree Mason and the El Hasa Shrine Club.
He is survived by two sons, Frederick (Tina) Murphy of Winchester, Ky., and Mark Todd Murphy of Morehead, Ky.; grandson, Michael Todd Murphy of Morehead, and his caregiver, Sandra Murphy of Morehead.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25, at 1 p.m. in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Buddy Kendrick officiaing. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky., with sons, grandson and friends serving as pallbearers. Stone Masonic Lodge # 890 F. & A.M. will conduct masonic graveside services. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time for the funeral Wednesday.

Powell Williams
William Powell Williams, 73, of McAndrews, Ky., passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012, at U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, Ky.
He was born June 26, 1938, in Pike County, Ky., the son of the late Edison Williams and Bernice Justice Brown.
He was also preceded in death by grandparents, John and Eunice Thomas and Bernice Brown; brother, Benny Williams; half brother, Charles Ray Williams; and half sister, Kathy Williams.
Powell was a master logger, having his own logging business, William P. Williams Logging Company, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Williamson Area Church of Christ. He loved blues music and the Blues Hall of Fame inducted him as an ambassador for the blues in Kentucky.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Florene Coleman Williams of McAndrews, Ky.; stepmother, Jean Williams of Robinette; two sons, James R. (Jimmy) Williams of McAndrews, Ky., and William P. Whetstone of Illinois; one daughter, Sally Whetstone; one brother, Johnny Williams of McAndrews; four half brothers, Danny, Timmy, Bobby and Larry Williams all of Robinette; four half sisters, Abby Williams, Tammy Williams and Susie Rogers of Man; and Donnie Williams of Robinette; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26, at 11 a.m. in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Clifford Hatcher and Donnie Estep officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe”s Creek Church of Christ Cemetery, Johns Creek, Ky., with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Funeral Home Chapel with special services Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
