PIKEVILLE, Ky. - A drug investigation that had been ongoing by members of the Pike County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) has resulted in the arrest of a Pikeville, Ky. resident.
According to PCSD Deputy Billy McCoy, Crystal Rena Justice, age 35, was placed under arrest on charges of trafficking a controlled substance (Heroin), trafficking a controlled substance (Codeine)and possession of a 1st degree controlled substance (drug unspecified).
The defendant was arrested in the Pikeville Walmart parking lot after a lengthy police investigation of the subject had gathered enough information for an arrest warrant to be issued. After making contact with the defendant, officers found her to be in possession of Heroin, Roxycontin tablets and Xanax bars, plus a substantial amount of cash. After a search of Justice’s home was executed, additional drugs and drug paraphernalia were also located.
Justice was arraigned in Pike County District Court and was set a bond in the amount of $15,000, and was remanded back to the custody of the Pike County Detention Center where she awaits a trial on these felony charges.
