Miners volleyball team beats Logan

LOGAN - The Mingo Central volleyball team won their match over Logan on Monday evening.

The varsity squad won by scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-19, which improved their record to 2-1.

In game one, Brandi Cisco had one service point, Hannah Church two points, Kiearia Hammond five points, and Ashley Curry seven points. In the second game, Curry and Hammond each had one server point, Kristyn Johnson served six points and Cisco served seven points.

In the third game, Cisco, Curry and Church each served one point, Johnson served for four points and Hammond served seven points.

In the JV match, the scores were. 20-25 and 13-25. In game one, Leandria Johnson served for a point, Breanna Duncan served 10 points and Alexis Tackett served for a point. In the second game L. Johnson, Teyona Cowan and Kaitlyn Johnson each served for a point and Duncan served for two points.
