Magisrate court releases weekly docket

WILLIAMSON - Mingo County Magistrate Dee Sidebottom returns to the bench this week to oversee cases scheduled to be heard in her courtroom.

This morning, beginning at 9 a.m., the following defendants are scheduled to appear:

Tina L. Brown, four counts of failure to report income to Workforce of WV and one count each of permitting a DUI and public intoxication; Aaron Brown, aggravated DUI, driving on a license suspended for miscellaneous reasons, left of center, reckless driving, fleeing in a vehicle and impeding traffic; and Phillip Hensley, one count of obstruction.

On Wednesday, August 28th, Justin Lee Baisden on charges domestic battery; Crystal R. Davidson, obstructing and public intoxication, Ronald Whitt, fleeing in vehicle, DUI, driving on a suspended license and three counts of obstructing ; and Donald Ray Howell, who was charged with forgery of a title or vehicle registration are scheduled to appear.

Thursday morning at 9 a.m., Robert Earl Chafin, who was charged with delivery of a Schedule IV controlled substance and DUI, is the sole defendant who is ordered to appear in court.

Cases may be added or removed from the docket at the discretion of the magistrate and the clerk’s office.

The Mingo County Magistrate’s office will be closed on Monday, September 2nd, in observance of Labor Day and will resume their normal hours on Tuesday.
