Anna Marcum Copley, 81 of Crum, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington.


She was born on February 19th, 1932 to the late Thomas Marcum and Betty Meade Marcum in Logan. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, W.C “Buddy” Copley, two sisters, Shirley Goeller and Lou Spaulding, two brothers, Leon Thomas Marcum Jr. and Randolph Marcum Sr., two nephews, Thomas Marcum and Sherman Spaulding Jr. and special friend, Wayne Justice.


Anna is survived by one sister, Faye (Bert) Gillman of Johnstown, Ohio, sister-in-law, Dolly Marcum of Crum, brother-in-law, Sherman Spaulding, and ten nieces and nephews, Rusty Gillman, Randy (Vicki) Gillman, Sarah Ann Marcum, Debbie Weddington, Mark (Betty Kaye) Marcum, Randolph (Adonna) Marcum Jr., Teresa Ann Marcum, Leon Thomas Marcum II, Anthony Lee Marcum and Betty Lois Spaulding. She is also survived by special friends, Kerry (Lydia) Waggoner, Steven (Prudence) Waggoner and David (Beth) Waggoner and many great nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held at the Crum Church of Christ on Saturday, May 25 after 5 p.m. Funeral services will also be a the church on Sunday, May 26th at 2 p.m. with her nephew, Leon Thomas Marcum II officiating. Burial will follow at the Perry Point Cemetery in Jennies Creek.


Arrangements are under the direction of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
