The Kentucky squad for the First Annual Consol Energy All-Star game has some of the top talents from eastern Kentucky.
Frankie Smith will coach the Bluegrass State squad.
The Kentucky squad has several of the top 3-point shooters in this part of the state and no doubt will be firing shots in a run-and-gun style noted for all-star games.
The two starting guards for the Belfry Pirates, Josh Robinson and Brett Charles are on the roster. Robinson averaged 13 ppg. and dished out five assists, while Charles averaged 15 ppg. and handed out four assists per game this past season.
Dalton Cornette, a 6-7 forward-center from Perry County Central, is the tallest player on the Ky. team. He averaged16 ppg. and pulled down nine rebounds per game.
Chase Kirk, who helped lead Sheldon Clark to a great season, is also on the Ky. roster. He averaged 12 ppg. and pulled down six rebounds per contest.
Ethan Rowe, who averaged 22 ppg. for the Pikeville Panthers, is also on the squad.
Four players form Boyd County will be playing on the team. They included Austin Hunt, Brandon Taylor, Todd Stacy and Stefano Vaghi.
Colton Hall of Lewis County is also on the team.
