Randal Lee Harmon, 55 of Forest Hills, Ky. passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the home of his sister in Charlotte, NC.
He was born May 7, 1957 in Panama the son of the late Willie James and Wilda Williamson Harmon. He was a retired auditor from the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet. He was a volunteer fireman and had worked with the Turkey Creek, Belfry and Upper Pond Fire Departments.
He is survived by three sisters, Sandy (Stan) Gwizdak of Charlotte, NC, Mary Harmon of Pikeville, Ky. and Wilda (Ken) Nance of Milford, Ohio; three niees, Sarah Teke, Ayla Gwizdak and Anya Gwizdak; a host of aunts, uncles and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 2 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Werntz officiating. Burial will follow in the Williamson Family Cemetery, Forest Hills, Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 till 9 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home Chapel. Upper Pond Creek Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a fireman’s funeral. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry is in charge of arrangments. Online condolences at www.rerogersfuneralhome.com.
