Betty Sue Trout, 64, of Ransom, Ky., passed away Wednesday morning, December 19, 2012, in the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born March 12, 1948, in Pike County, Ky., the daughter of the late Ermal and Hazel Hager.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Hager; and a sister, Annie Smith.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Henry C. Trout of Ransom, Ky.; daughter, Susan Kay Ratliff of Charleston; sons, James Ermal “Jamie” (Susan) Trout of Louisa, Ky., and Henry C. (Connie) Trout Jr. of Delbarton; sister, Mary New of Ransom, Ky.; grandchildren, Mark Ratliff, Amanda Stevenson, Austin Trout, Josh Trout, Jazz Trout, Ryan Hager, Kyle Hinkle and Clay Warf; great-grandchildren, Bradley Woodrum, Brandon Woodrum, Ryan Woodrum, Emma Stevenson, Jace Stevenson and Eli Stevenson; special friend, Roma Eanes of Ransom, Ky.; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, at noon in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery, Ransom, Ky. with Jamie, Josh and Austin Trout, Mark Ratliff, Kyle Hinkle and Claf Warf serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Henry C. Trout Jr. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Friday, December 21, in the Funeral Home Chapel with a special singing service at 7 p.m.
