It’s hard to believe, but that tired cliché is once again coming true:
Christmas is right around the corner. In fact, it’s just a bit under three weeks until that mountain of presents can be torn apart. More specifically, its 18 day until Christmas.
Still struggling to figure out what to ask for? There’s so many options now! Toys, gadgets, video games, clothing, perfume, power tools and whatever else your heart might desire. And while choosing might be easy or hard, there’s only one way to make sure that dream of the perfect Christmas present becomes reality.
You’ve got to let the person who turns those visions of sugar plums dancing in your head into real, physical presents waiting underneath the tree on Christmas morning:
And we here at the Williamson Daily News can help out in that avenue.
The Daily News will once again be publishing Letters to Santa from children from all across the area in our Sunday, Dec. 23, edition.
“But why does a newspaper need letters to Santa? Shouldn’t the kids mail them to the North Pole? Doesn’t Santa have an email address?”
Unfortunately, no, he doesn’t.
What he does have, however, is a subscription to the Daily News. So give the post office a break from flying up to the North Pole and send the letters here instead.
Letters can be dropped off at the Daily News office located on West Second Ave., mailed to Williamson Daily News P.O. Box 1660 Williamson, WV 25661, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline is Dec. 18.
Admittedly, the date of publishing does sound a bit late, but since Santa is, well, Santa, he’ll get it with plenty of time to spare to make sure all the good little boys and girls get their heart’s desires on Christmas Day.
