Susan Marie Marcum Willis, 55, of Naugatuck, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Vernatters Branch, Naugatuck.
Born December 19, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Don Mars Willis and Ferbie Kathryn Anderson Willis Mahon.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Brandy Marcum; and her lifetime mate, Warn Abraham.
Susan was a homemaker.
Susan is survived by a son, Donald Thomas (Tommy) Willis of Vernatters Branch; two granddaughters, Brandy and Samantha; a sister, Patricia Elkins of Nolan; two brothers, Donnie Willis of Vernatters Branch and Eddie Willis of Huntington; two sisters-in-law, Robin Willis and Brenda Willis; nephews, Brent Willis and Jamie Willis; nieces, Donna Diamond, Jaree Willis, Joy Willis, Ruby Smith, Susie Collins, Christina Elkins and April Hall. She is also survived by many other loved ones and friends.
The body has been cremated and the family will observe private graveside services at noon on Friday, December 7, at the family cemetery at Vanatters Branch.
The family will miss the laughter that Susie so naturally provided to our lives. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
