Madge Irene McCoy Stepp went to be with her lord and savior on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.
She was born May 13, 1921, in Pike County, Ky., to the late Benjamin McCoy and the late Sarah Jude McCoy.
She lived and raised her family in Hatfield, Ky., then resided in the Ashland, Ky./Ironton, Ohio, area for many years before living in Prince George, Va.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ade Stepp; and two daughters and a son-in-law, Martha Carol Spencer and her husband, Alvin, of Westerville, Ohio, and Donna Sue Lambert, of Ironton.
She is survived by one son, Robert Charles Stepp of Gahanna, Ohio; and three daughters, Phyllis Ann Lowe and husband Edward of Jarrettsville, Md., Esther Frances Singer of Indianapolis, Ind., Anita Kathryn Fleming and husband Carl of Prince George; and her son-in-law David Lambert of Ironton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Lazear Funeral Home, Ashland, Ky., with graveside services on Friday, Nov. 9, at 1:30 p.m. at the Goldens Oak Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ashland with Pastor David Lambert officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lazear Funeral Home, Ashland.
