WILLIAMSON - A total of 39 felony indictments (true bills) were returned by the Mingo County Grand Jury on Wednesday, with the majority of the defendants being arraigned Thursday morning before Circuit Judge Michael Thornsbury on a variety of charges. Prescription drugs, burglary, welfare fraud and child neglect charges topped the list of offenses.


• Indictment S12-F67; Dickie Lee Altizer was arraigned on one count of burglary and one count of grand larceny. He was represented by Attorney Paul Montgomery.


• Indictment S12-F68; Tiffany Bailey was indicted by the grand jury on charges of one count of computer fraud and a single count of petit larceny. The defendant’s legal counsel was Attorney Jerry Lyall.


• Indictment S12-F69; Orville R. Baisden failed to appear in court to be arraigned on charges of fraudulent scheme and false statement (welfare fraud). A capias warrant was issued for his arrest.


• Indictment S12-F70; Tina A. Blair had been indicted on charges of fraudulent schemes and false statement (welfare fraud) and did not appear in circuit court for her arraignment hearing. A capias warrant was issued against the defendant.


• Indictment S12-F71; Amy Lynn Blanton was indicted on one count each of fraudulent schemes and one count of conspiracy to commit fraudulent schemes and also failed to appear for her arraignment. A capias warrant was issued for her arrest.


• Indictment S12-F72; Robert Lee Brewer had been arrested and was indicted on two counts of delivery of a Schedule III controlled substance (Hydrocodone). The defendant was represented by Attorney Paul Montgomery.


• Indictment S12-F73; David Lee Bumgarner had been indicted on one count each of burglary, grand larceny and retaliation against a public officer. Legal counsel for the defendant was Attorney Ashley Cochran.


• Indictment S12-F74; Donald Caudill was arraigned on charges of fraudulent schemes and false statement (welfare fraud). He was represented by Attorney Jerry Lyall.


• Indictment S12-F75 and S12-F76; Thomas Ray Cline was indicted and arraigned on charges of two counts of entering a building other than a dwelling, one count of petit larceny and one count of grand larceny. He was represented at the hearing by Attorney Jonathan “Duke” Jewell.


• Indictment S12-F77; Melissa Dawn Copley was indicted on two felony counts of credit card fraud. Legal counsel for the defendant was Attorney Jonathan “Duke” Jewell.


• Indictment S12-F78; Andrew Jackson Eastwood was arraigned on one count of transferring stolen goods. He was also represented in court by Attorney Jonathan “Duke” Jewell.


• Indictment S12-F79; Trista Rena Estep had been arrested and was indicted on one count each of attempt of delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance (Oxycodone), conspiracy to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance (Oxycodone), assault during attempt to commit a felony and 1st degree robbery. Estep’s attorney during the arraignment hearing was Attorney Stacey Kohari.


• Indictment S12-F80; Kristen Farley was indicted on one count of burglary and one count of conspiracy. The defendant was represented by Attorney Kathy Sturgill-Cisco.


• Indictment S12-F81; Jerry Lee Fields was arraigned on charges of one count each of first degree robbery and escape from custody. Legal counsel for the defendant was Attorney Jonathan “Duke” Jewell.


• Indictment S12-F82; Johnce I. Followay was indicted on two counts of first degree sexual abuse and two counts of first degree sexual assault. He was represented by Attorney Jerry Lyall.


• Indictment S12-F83; Shawn Anthony Goff was arraigned on one count each of entry of a building other than a dwelling and grand larceny. Legal representation during the hearing on the defendant’s behalf was Attorney Marsha Rumora.


• Indictment S12-F84; Edgar Hall, Jr. was indicted one a single count of grand larceny. He was represented by Attorney Jerry Lyall.


• Indictment S12-F85; Brittany Marcum was arraigned on felony counts of child abuse resulting in bodily injury and 1st offense domestic battery. Legal counsel for the defendant was Attorney Kathy Cisco-Sturgill.


• Indictment S12-F86; Samantha Lynn Marcum was indicted on a single count each of child neglect creating risk of injury and 2nd offense DUI. She was represented by Attorney Susan Van Zant.


• Indictment S12-F87; Diana Meade failed to appear for her arraignment hearing after being indicted on two counts of child neglect resulting in injury. A capias warrant was issued for her arrest.


• Indictment S12-F88; Terri M. Meadows was indicted and arraigned on one count of fraudulent schemes and one count of uttering. She was resented during her hearing by Attorney Ashley Lockwood.


• Indictment S12-F89; Hazel S. Mullins failed to appear in court after being indicted on charges of fraudulent schemes and false statement (welfare fraud). A capias warrant was ordered for her arrest.


• Indictment S12-F90; William Curtis Muncy was indicted on two counts of 1st degree sexual abuse. The defendant was represented by Attorney Charles “Butch” West.


• Indictment S12-F91; Arnold Lee Perry was indicted and arraigned on one count each of 1st degree robbery, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Legal counsel for this case was Attorney Jerry Lyall.


• Indictment S12-F92; Woodrow Prater, Jr. had been indicted on charges of fraudulent schemes and conspiracy to commit fraudulent schemes. He failed to appear in court for his arraignment and a capias warrant was issued for his arrest.


• Indictment S12-F93; Mary Sammons had been indicted on charges of receiving stolen goods and conspiracy to receive stolen goods by the grand jury. She was represented during her hearing by Attorney Josh Ferrell.


• Indictment S12-F94; Anthony Dow Sammons was arraigned on one count of 1st degree robbery. The defendant’s legal counsel for this case was Attorney Jerry Lyall.


• Indictment S12-F95; Joshua Pete Spaulding was indicted on one count each of 1st degree robbery, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Representing the defendant was Attorney Josh Ferrell.


• Indictment S12-F96; Ruth J. Spence failed to appear for her arraignment hearing after she was indicted on charges of fraudulent schemes and false statement (welfare fraud). A capias warrant was ordered for her arrest.


• Indictment S12-F97; William Oscar Stanley was indicted on one count each of burglary and petit larceny. Attorney Jonathan “Duke” Jewell represented the defendant.


• Indictment S12-F98; Roger Gene Thacker was arraigned on charges of two counts of destruction of property, one of which was over $2,500. Attorney Jonathan “Duke” Jewell stood in as legal counsel for the defendant on behalf of Attorney Paul Montgomery.


• Indictment S12-F99; Gary Lewis Vance was indicted on one count each of delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance (Oxycodone), attempt to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance (Oxycodone), assault during an attempt to commit a felony and 1st degree robbery. Vance was represented by Attorney Susan Van Zant.


• Indictment S12-F100; Jeremiah Waller was indicted of charges of fraudulent schemes and conspiracy to commit fraudulent schemes. A capias warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to appear for his arraignment hearing.


• Indictment S120F101; Brandon Ward was arraigned on one count of fraudulent schemes. He was represented by Attorney Josh Ferrell.


• Indictment S12-F102; David Lee White was indicted on one count each of 1st degree sexual abuse and attempt to commit first degree sexual abuse. The defendant did not appear in court and a capias warrant was ordered for his arrest.


• Indictment S12-F103; Amy Renee Williams had been charged and was indicted on one count each of fraudulent schemes and conspiracy to commit fraudulent schemes. Legal representation in this case was Attorney Josh Ferrell.


• Indictment S12-F104; Sarah E. Workman was arraigned on charges of two counts of child neglect causing risk of injury. She was represented by Attorney Kathy Cisco-Sturgill.


• Indictment S12-F105; Betty Baisden failed to appear in court for her arraignment hearing after being indicted on charges of fraudulent schemes and false statement (welfare fraud). A capias warrant was issued against the defendant.
