Commission stocks county waterways for fishermen

WILLIAMSON – The Mingo County Commission’s promotion of outdoor recreation throughout the county continued over the past week with the addition of fish to Marrowbone Creek and Laurel Lake.On Friday, April 11, 500 pounds of trout were released into Marrowbone Creek, in the northern area of the county. On Tuesday, another 1,000 pounds of trout were released at Laurel Lake.Earlier this month, trout was released into Pigeon Creek near Delbarton.The latest releases of fish were conducted to further develop and promote outdoor recreational opportunities throughout Mingo County.
